If you are considering installing a bollard, you must first of all check your ground is suitable. Bollards require very deep foundations and adequate drainage to function sufficiently. Unfortunately, if you are located in an area with high groundwater levels, bollards will not be an appropriate choice for your site. You can search for groundwater level information online, or if you are unsure, one of our recommended installers would be able to advise.

Usually, a single bollard installation is completed in around a one-week timeframe. As a guide, this covers a day for the site preparation and groundwork, a day for the concrete to be mixed and poured, 48 hours for the concrete to set, and the final day to cover electrics and hand-over.

Fixed bollards, semi-automatic bollards, automatic bollards and crash-tested bollards all form a physical barrier that prevents unauthorised vehicles from entering specified areas, such as busy pedestrian zones, car park facilities, commercial and private properties, as well as high security locations.

CUSTOMER FEEDBACK
“I was looking for additional security to protect my high-value cars and initially considered parking bollards. However, I didn't want the hassle of manually locking and unlocking them every time I accessed my driveway. The SPARTACUS automatic bollard turned out to be the perfect solution. Installed at the front of my driveway, it offers the ultimate protection for my cars and is incredibly convenient, with raising and lowering speeds of less than 5 seconds."
